Esme's Eye

The world as seen through the lens of an amazing 4 year old girl....... who just happens to have autism

It’s awesome having the opportunity to watch as Esme begins to make sense of her world. When I first saw one of her photographs I felt as though I had been given a glimpse of that private world Esme used to retreat to so often. It felt like a whole new vernacular, like discovering your child could speak another language you weren’t aware of. She has made so much progress lately that I often feel like it’s me that’s doing all the catching up. With every passing moment I see more and more of the little lady Esme is becoming and I couldn’t be a prouder parent.
